IP Address
The most searched for web definition
was IP address. IP addresses are four numbers, between zero and
255, separated by periods. This number tells a network of
computers and servers just where to find your computer. Within a
closed network, you can assign any random numbers or use a
private addressing scheme for your internal network.
Cookie
The second most searched for term was "cookie." A cookie is
a note that a server leaves on your web browser so that it can
remember what you looked at the last time you visited and
customize your screen when you visit next.
